Pushpa 2: The Rule, an eagerly awaited Telugu-language action drama, is in the pipeline. Sukumar, the accomplished writer and director, is at the helm of this project, with Mythri Movie Makers collaborating alongside Sukumar Writings for production. The film features Allu Arjun in the lead role, with Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna returning to reprise their respective characters.

Production
Development:
In May 2021, the creators of the Pushpa film series announced a two-part release, with the second installment scheduled for 2022.At that point, approximately 10% of the filming had already been completed before the release of the initial part. speculation arose about a shared storyline with "Pushpa 2: The Rule." In response, director Sukumar opted to completely rewrite and reshoot the second part to ensure a distinct and unparalleled experience for the audience. Sukumar clarified that while the narratives differed, he aimed to meet audience expectations and rectify any previous misperceptions.
The conclusion of the first part revealed the title as "Pushpa 2: The Rule." The second part was formally inaugurated with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad in August 2022.
Filming:
Despite a few scenes being previously shot before the release of the first part, Sukumar mentioned modifications to the storyline and the decision to reshoot the entire film. Principal photography commenced in October 2022.
Release:
Scheduled for theatrical release on August 15, 2024, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, coinciding with Indian Independence Day, the film serves as the sequel to 2021's "Pushpa: The Rise."
